YOUTH FOR TECHNOLOGY
FOUNDATION Mission:
The mission of Youth for Technology Foundation (YTF) is to provide
disadvantaged Nigerian youth in underserved communities access to
technology and resources to enable them to achieve phenomenal goals. The
Foundation will help youth realize their dreams of technical literacy by
acquiring computer knowledge and skills that will enable them to be
productive community individuals and enthusiastic employees or employers
in the public and private sectors.
The Foundation takes a
grassroots approach to problems related to the backwardness of Nigerian
youth relative to their peers in global digital economy. YTF starts with
understanding the needs of an underserved community and focuses on how
technology resources adapted to cultural and social needs and access can

YUBM
MINISTRIES Mission:
- to creatively present the Person and claims of Jesus Christ to urban
youth and young adults whose lives are influenced by hip-hop culture (in
particular, the Young Urban Black Male -- YUBM), and to communicate the
Good News He's got for them -- couched in a cultural context conducive
to careful and critical consideration.
- to creatively challenge God's people to get actively involved in
reaching out to those urban youth and young adults interested in,
influenced by, or even immersed in hip-hop (including those inside their
own churches), by providing them with unique information, cultural
insight and innovative ideas, helping saints who seek to understand,
invade, minister, survive and (yes) enjoy ministry to those (w)rapped up
this unique and creative culture.
- to creatively motivate and empower strategic leaders, maieuetically
challenging them to and for the Lord's service; seeking to build up
"Truth See'rs" from within this remarkably perceptive, imaginatively
conceptive and (indeed) surprisingly receptive culture.
